These terms set out the conditions under which Modelyn provides its online coursework, website access, and related services. Please read them before enrolling in or using any of our programs.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings set out below:
- "Modelyn", "we", "us" or "our" refers to the operator of this website and the programs described herein, operating from 302 Si Chan Road, Nai Mueang, Khon Kaen 40000, Thailand.
- "Learner", "you" or "your" refers to any individual who visits this website, submits an enquiry, enrolls in a program or accesses course content.
- "Programs" refers to the online educational tracks offered by Modelyn, currently comprising the Data Engineering Foundations track, the MLOps & Deployment Track, and the Mentorship & Portfolio Program.
- "Content" refers to all materials, exercises, videos, text, code samples, project templates and other resources provided through Modelyn's programs.
- "Website" refers to all pages accessible at the domain associated with Modelyn's online presence.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry form, or enrolling in any program, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you should not use this website or enroll in our programs.
Your continued use of the website or participation in any program following notification of changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
3. Services Offered
Modelyn provides general online educational coursework in the field of AI development engineering. Our current program offerings are:
Data Engineering Foundations
Self-paced coursework covering data pipeline construction, storage systems and data preparation for AI workloads. Priced at ฿3,500.
MLOps & Deployment Track
Coursework on model packaging, serving infrastructure and production monitoring. Priced at ฿9,100.
Mentorship & Portfolio Program
Structured portfolio development with scheduled mentor sessions and feedback on project work. Priced at ฿12,250.
Modelyn reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any program or feature at any time, with reasonable notice provided where practicable. Program content, pricing and availability are subject to change.
4. Eligibility
Our programs are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
There are no formal academic prerequisites for enrollment, though some programs are better suited to those with prior programming experience. Program descriptions indicate the level of background knowledge that is helpful before starting.
5. Enrollment
Enrollment in a Modelyn program begins when you submit an enquiry through the contact form on this website and subsequently confirm your place following communication with our team. Enrollment is only confirmed upon receipt of payment in full.
You are responsible for providing accurate and current information during the enrollment process. Providing false information may result in termination of your access to the program without refund.
Modelyn reserves the right to decline an enrollment application at its discretion, in which case any payment received will be returned in full.
6. Payments
All program fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is required in full before access to program content is granted. Details of accepted payment methods will be communicated during the enrollment process.
Prices displayed on this website are subject to change. The price applicable to your enrollment is the price confirmed in writing at the time of enrollment.
Modelyn does not store payment card details on its systems. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, and their terms apply to the processing of your payment.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
You may request cancellation of your enrollment by contacting us at [email protected].
Refund eligibility is as follows:
- Cancellations requested within 7 days of confirmed enrollment, before any course content has been accessed, are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations requested after course content has been accessed are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Partial refunds may be considered where access has been limited.
- Cancellations requested after 30 days of confirmed enrollment are not eligible for a refund.
For the Mentorship & Portfolio Program, mentor sessions that have already taken place are non-refundable. The remaining balance of the program fee may be eligible for a partial refund in accordance with the criteria above.
8. Content Access
Upon confirmed enrollment and receipt of payment, you will be granted access to the relevant program content for the duration specified at the time of enrollment. Access is granted for your personal, non-commercial educational use only.
You may not share your account credentials or allow third parties to access course content using your account. Each enrollment grants access to a single individual.
Modelyn makes reasonable efforts to ensure course content is available and accurate but does not warrant that access will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled maintenance or technical issues may occasionally affect availability.
9. Intellectual Property
All content provided through Modelyn's programs, including but not limited to text, code samples, exercises, project templates, diagrams and instructional materials, remains the intellectual property of Modelyn unless otherwise stated.
Enrollment in a program grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal educational purposes. This licence does not permit you to:
- Copy, reproduce or distribute course materials to third parties;
- Create derivative works based on course content for commercial purposes;
- Record or screencapture live sessions for redistribution;
- Upload or share course materials on public platforms.
Your own project work and portfolio items produced during a program remain your property. Modelyn claims no ownership over original work you create.
10. User Conduct
By using this website or participating in our programs, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful to Modelyn staff, mentors and other learners. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Use abusive, threatening or discriminatory language in any communication with Modelyn or other participants;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or content not assigned to you;
- Submit false information in any form or communication;
- Use program content for unlawful purposes;
- Engage in behaviour that disrupts or interferes with the learning environment of others.
Modelyn reserves the right to terminate access to programs without refund if a learner's conduct materially violates these standards.
11. Educational Disclaimer
Modelyn's programs provide general educational coursework and informational content only. We do not offer, and our programs should not be construed as providing:
- Regulated professional qualifications or accredited certifications;
- Employment placement services or recruitment assistance;
- Advice specific to any particular employment situation or commercial project;
- Any representation that completing a program will result in specific career outcomes, salary changes or employment.
The content in our programs reflects the knowledge and experience of the instructors at the time of creation and is intended to be informative and practically useful. It is not a substitute for professional engineering advice in regulated or high-stakes contexts.
Course content is kept current on a quarterly review cycle, but the AI development field changes rapidly and some information may not reflect the very latest tooling or practices between reviews.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Modelyn's total liability to you in connection with these terms, the website or any program shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant program.
Modelyn shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of course content;
- Loss of earnings, business opportunity or employment outcomes;
- Technical interruptions to website or content access beyond our reasonable control;
- Decisions made by you based on course content.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law.
13. Privacy
Your use of this website and enrollment in our programs is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use and protect personal data in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). By using this website or enrolling in a program, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to Terms
Modelyn may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where practicable, notify enrolled learners by email.
It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of this website or participation in programs following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
